You can help avoid these conversations by using the Quicktap Tennis Scorekeeper app from the Apple App store. Using easy to learn controls and a couple of quick score correction mechanisms, the app lets you keep score and side and serve straight without getting in the way of keeping your head in the match. The gesture based input system works no matter how sweaty it is outside and takes just a double tap for each point.
Quicktap also allows you to gather biometric stats as you quickly and easily play and keep score. A swipe and a tap display heart rate and other data.
You can also start a regular Apple workout and display cumulative workout stats such as active calories, steps, distance travelled just like the Apple workout app shows. When you’re done the match, ending the workout automatically saves the workout to Health and allows you to keep track of what you done and chase Fitness badges.
The new version 1.4 expands point and time tracking as well as adds a new ‘Coach Mode’ to allow for easier annotation and record keeping of matches.
